I couldn't build upward my mind. I wanted to endeavor baking a custard layered cake but I practice non choose all the essential ingredients. I wanted to endeavor baking a zebra chiffon but I'd never done it before.....So inwards the end...I married them all together with did a Coffee Agar Agar Zebra Chiffon 咖啡布丁戚风蛋糕. It's my ain creation. I used both instant java together with java liquor to become a squeamish java aroma. Loving it!
Group H5N1 - Cake Ingredients (For Yolk Batter) :
- 120 gm TOP or cake flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 5 egg yolks (est. 65 gm eggs)
- 2 tbsp kopi-o instant coffee
- 1 tbsp coffee liquor (optional)
- 80 ml total cream milk
- 75 ml vegetable oil
- 30 gm sugar
Group B - Cake Ingredients (For Egg White Meringue) :
- 5 egg whites (est. 65 gm eggs)
- 80 gm sugar
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa pulverisation (sieve beforehand)(to practice darker color meringue)
Group C - Coffee Agar Agar Ingredients :
- 10 gm agar agar powder
- 100 ml total cream milk
- 1150 ml water
- 1 sachet kopi-o instant java bag
- 1 tbsp java liquor (optional)
- 80 gm carbohydrate (or to taste)
Method :
- Sieve spill out or cake flour, baking pulverisation together with cocoa pulverisation into a bowl.
- In a carve upward bowl, add together egg yolks amongst other Group A's ingredients (i.e. sugar, milk, instant coffee, java liquor, together with vegetable oil. Whisk till even.
- Fold inwards sieved cake flour together with baking pulverisation flake past times bit. Whisk till even.
- Pre-heat oven to 150C. Add a tray of H2O inwards the oven (for steam baking).
- In a mixer, crease inwards egg whites together with cream of tartar (from Group B).
- Start mixing at depression speed. Add carbohydrate tardily (from Group B).
- Turn mixer to medium speed together with mix till theatre peak.
- Combine meringue onto egg yolks mixture inwards three batches. Gently crease till even.
- Divide combined cake mixtures into ii equal bowls.
- Mix cocoa pulverisation (from Group B) into solely one bowl together with gently crease to practice a darker cake mixture.
- Line baking newspaper at bottom of a 7-inch circular cake tin.
- Gently crease inwards alternate colours into cake give the sack layer past times layer. Scoop equal total of each color every time.
- Gently tap cake give the sack few times to take away whatever air bubbles afterward each layer.
- Steam bake at 150C for +/- seventy minutes (subject to oven size together with brand).
- Insert bamboo skewer into cake to banking concern gibe if they are fully cooked.
- Remove from oven when ready. Immediately dislodge cakes from tin.
- Allow cakes to cool completely to room temperature on cooling rack.
- Meanwhile, fix java agar agar by bringing to boil all the Group C ingredients inwards a pot at depression heat. Keep stirring till the jelly pulverisation together with carbohydrate are fully dissolved together with plough off rut when mixture starts bubbling.
- Discard instant java satchet. Sieve agar agar mixture till desired smoothen texture.
- Fold inwards a sparse layer of agar agar mixture onto a real build clean cake tin. Allow to cool for 1 minute. Arrange the entire cake into cake give the sack (leaving roughly infinite all round). Scoop agar agar mixture over it until the spill out is squeamish together with smoothly covered.
- Allow to cool inwards room temperature earlier chilling them overnight inwards refrigerator.
- When agar agar is laid overnight, dislodge entire cake from tin. Slice together with serve.
